When I go shoot an area, I get very attached to the wildlife there. It saddens me to know that our city and county are "restoring" this beautiful habitat to their liking, in spite of causing a razing that will ruin the hunting areas of a White Tail Kite family, California Quail, Roadrunners, Woodpeckers and Spotted Towees. For the life of me, I don't understand what could be the need for ruining this perfect setting for local wildlife, and, once again, chasing them into a smaller environment with less food. And then a few years later, asking for money to study why they are losing endangered species locally. Humans are the only stupid species on earth.
